Yet another author who doesn't have a single clue about word tense, meaning, or use. The word "leant" as used in this story is wrong should have been 'leaned'. Wished the uneducated would stop submitting stories or find a good eitor.
Regarding Anonymous: another
You need to be more accepting of the differences in the English language -- there are many spelling differences between British Commonwealth English and American English. A well educated American recognizes (recognises) and easily accepts this point.
To the author: there were a few minor mistakes, but nothing that broke the flow of the story. I have seen a few of these type (husband or boyfriend is the antagonist) and should have seen this one coming, but you got me, so good writing.
