Wrong Category - should be in humour & satire

I read the first couple of chapters and thought they were just rubbish but now that I have looked at the last couple and I realise that you are playing a joke on everyone and especially those people who think it is a great story.

Ever heard of TEMPORAL PARADOX???

I have enjoyed your fantasy so far and hence have refrained myself from commenting but alas i have to considering how your story is proceeding. Here on this site, all the stories that i have read have one of the three things,a logical plot or plain sex or both logical plot and sex. However this saga of yours contains neither of the three things.I can do without the sex as a good read doesn't need it....however the lack of logic in this story is baffling considering for all intents and purpose it's very well written.

Enjoyable alternate scifi story

although not too tight in all angles, it is nonetheless a very enjoyable read....

You have steel ships, I would assume back home based on earlier chapters that you should have aeronautical capabilities. So can one assume if England sends a fleet that air bombardment is logical. Also aerial recon's and exploration too.
So don't write and forget !!!

Power structure of Europe

avidreader123 at the time of the story, England was not a great power. Spain and France were the great powers in Europe at the time. The Spanish army of the time was probably the best in Europe closely followed by France. For the Spanish invasion of England planned for 1588 Spain committed battle hardened 55,000 soldiers, the English had a poorly trained and equipped force of 4,000. The English army was pitiful until the creation of the New Model Army during the Civil (1645). At the time of the story the Royal Navy was so bad that they could not stop Barbary Corsairs from raiding the south coast of England for slaves. In the 1630s Charles I started to rebuild the Navy, but he build large capital ships that he could not afford to run so they were layed up. This Roger's first contact with the English forces does not reflect the English character of the time and especially James I who was a good diplomat.

What would

William Shakespeare (26 April 1564 (baptised) – 23 April 1616)
have to write about that?

So

For the people that keep saying that its not logical with all the time travel and history goofs there is one fact you seem to forget nobody actually knows what the bomb does that transported him to a diffrent reality for all we know it could be a alternate universe he is in there is no telling what happened and to the writer love the story

Who cares

about logic. This is a story for entertainment and I think very well done. Be interesting to see the authors take on what happens since this country did ot become "the colonys"

You have been one of my favorite Authors for some time. Although different from most of your stories, I am really enjoying this current tale.

Historical Figures

The visit to England was during the reign of James I of England. The use of the names of actual historical figures will add to the (dare I say) realism.
The first and second ship load of people going to Jamestown, VA were mainly 'gentlemen', not suitable for settlers there or in Georgia. But the many of the names and personalities are easily researched.
Again, more realism.
Just a thought,

TOK

I agree with previous posters that this seems to be an outline of a longer story. I see a 300 page novel in the works. This reminds me of the alternate history novels of Turtledove and Stiriling. I hope to see this in the bookstores or on my Nook

Ignore the naysayers

Just as another poster stated, who knows what the "Flux Bomb" does?? He could be just in the past of our timeline, or any number of parallel universes where any number of things are different!

I tried reading some of the Turtledove alternate history books before and couldn't get more then a chapter or two into them. Literotica may considered a sex story site, not every story truly needs at least one heavy sex scene in it! Not every story here must be a "fap fap fap" story! Most of the stories I have truly enjoyed here either have the erotic parts as a secondary element, or done very tastefully.

Hermit I will say some events do seem rushed, but you commented in the other chapters that they were to be fleshed out. Apparently these people who comment about the story being just an outline, or a history text, don't understand how to read other comments, or can take that into context.

Please keep up the good work, and if you find the time to flesh out previous chapters and/or events that would make the story that much more immersive.

Great story

About the point of realism, considering an "realistic" alternative timeline starting at 1586 one cannot say who is King in another country in 1606, too many diversions from the original timeline have taken place at this time. The whole point of the discussion is moot. The same goes for many other "facts". The story in itself is realistic enough and beautifully written and therefore needs no further nitpicking
