and that is very high praise, being as good as bacon! You have lovely metaphors, comparisons, you wove them together thoughtfully and without boring, overused words. Totally enjoyable, good work :)

Excellent. One could quibble about the odd word here and there but the atmospherics are excellent. Nostalgic but unsentimental. However, I think the poem is strong enough that the last line could be dropped altogether. To me the whole poem has already made that point - but I'm probably wrong. 5.
