This chapter was showing promise, what happened? You left too many questions. What was Gene's problem if she did not know about Jason and Ariel's affair? What other problems did she suffer from? I do not know of too many women who just walk out and leave their children behind like she did. She could have easily ended up with the house and the children with his admission of the affair, and could have easily seen to it that he lost his job for having sex with a student. And what was this hint about the women Ariel's dad was leaving notes about?
While the first two chapters were rough and quick, the first four-fifths of this chapter showed promise for future chapters in this story, but you just suddenly drove over a cliff. You might want to rethink your decision to end this story so soon like you did. The ending cut it from a four star to a two star.

Like, you explain his reaction when she was pregnant. When he asked her to marry her. They got married, what happened with Gene, what was her fucking problem?
If you had read the first chapter Ariel had said she lived alone but knew it was a lie. I had said that her dad was always out with women so the notes that were being left behind were showing just how much he was gone and how basically she did live alone. Like how Ariel's dad was out with dinner with one woman nd the next morning he was out to breakfast with a different woman. I had also said in this final chapter that Jason's wife had been pushing him away, when Ariel asked why he was doing this when they hadn't talked for two weeks. So when Gene found out of the affair or rather assumed it, it was the driving force to end a marriage that was already falling apart and becoming more distant by the day
