Not a big fan of the simple rhyme scheme but you do it so nimbly it's like watching a seamstress thread a needle! Easy-peasy. You know I think Stephen King wrote a novel about this very situation!

loved the cadence, rhyme, and story an yes Angeline, King did write one like this but his was so creepy I could not finish more than 1 chapter.

Gerald's Game was awful, probably King's worst book ever.

This poem was worth reading and much more merciful on the reader.
