Absolutely nothing was accomplished during the ending. Jack is still Jack and he will find another victim if he doesn't find Tina. She is now a complete waste and will never be satisfied.

Finding Tina and getting revenge would be the most important thing in life. Who is so stupid and exposes himself to this danger? Just a writer who knows nothing will happen to him!
