My guess is that some of your story is a bit too close to the truth for some. A large number of the LW readership read the revenge stories here and vicariously play out their own experiences. In their minds they are the bad ass biker, but in reality they got screwed and did nothing about it (there was probably nothing they could do about it).

I wanted to like this story, as I have been endlessly fascinated and entertained by the (mostly anonymous) people who comment on LW stories. But I'm afraid this story came up short in the end. The conclusion, which is supposed to reveal the true motivation of the "LW Troll" is far too simplistic.

While I'm sure there are some cases where someone who "protests too much" about a particular lifestyle is secretly intrigued by it, and hates himself for it, there are likely many more people who are genuinely repulsed for other reasons. To me, those reasons are far more interesting and thought-provoking than the one presented here, which has been repeated far too often.

What intrigues me most about the "LW Trolls" is why they read, vote and comment on stories that they must know they will not enjoy. The LW category is clearly and specifically described as "Married extra-marital fun: swinging, sharing & more." What part of that don't they understand?

There are many sexual proclivities (incest, rape, bestiality, etc.) that I find distasteful and, to various degrees, immoral. It would never occur to me to seek out these stories and write vicious comments to the authors in order to establish my "moral superiority", but as they say: diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.

It seems as though their motivation for voting and commenting on these stories comes from a perception of moral superiority. I imagine they must experience an endorphin rush from taking what they perceive to be the moral high ground and putting a disgusting pervert in his place. Although their comments appear angry and hateful, those comments actually make them feel better about themselves. One of the definitions of the word "fetish" is "a strong and unusual need or desire for something." By that definition, commenting on these stories is their fetish. And THAT would have been an interesting conclusion to this story!

I believe there are very few that are now in line with this fetish way of thinking and most probably live their lives in pain without hope of ever having a normal relationship. The trouble with Loving Wives as a description is that it is wholly inaccurate. Who the hell are they loving, certainly not their husbands. And even if you accept that this is the place for stories about adulterous women, then you've got the problem that there are two distinct kinds.

One fucks other men without their husbands knowledge, and probably deserve the BTB reaction. The others do so with their spouses knowledge and encouragement. Why should they be punished for doing what their husband wants them to do?

So there are two opposing kinds of story lumped together in one category, each of which will offend half its potential readers.Whichever side of the divide a story lies, it's gonna get flamed by people from the opposite camp, and the flamers are gonna get called trolls, often unfairly. The only way it's ever going to be sorted is for Literotica to get its act together and provide two categories, one for each type of story, then maybe the stories will get scored and commented on more sensibly.

And maybe Literotica moderators will read this comment and take it on board, but I won't hold my breath.

Perhaps it would be better for authors to simply delete comments that are insulting, or otherwise add nothing to other readers.

I've read a few comments about the name of this section, and I think the confusion may lie with which word is being emphasized. If the category is "loving WIVES", then I suppose I could understand the confusion (despite the description of the category), as a wife who cheats on her husband or treats him in a demeaning way is certainly not "loving."
