what you do better than most

is cram a hell of a lot of imagery into the lines you use with a blend of white space to give the reader the contemplation they need to put it all together.

hmmmm

the phrase "liver spots" evokes a sort of unpleasant image, but the poem is really good. I liked it the way it is, but I would probably change that to something else, but that's just me :) Keep up the good work!
