The only thing this demonstrates is a robot who looks like a female.

And who wants that? You might think you want that but what is the point? Total control? So she has no opinions, no thoughts, no feelings, no desires beyond what he gives her? You might feel affection, like you would towards a pet; but love? Genuine love?

What happens when he dies? What happens to her? She's been conditioned to have no thoughts or desires beyond her master'a, so where does that leave her? Likewise, you can't compel love. It is the one emotion that you can't demand, force or control. If you do, then it is not love. It must be granted freely

And what happens when she is hurt or wounded, physically or emotionally? What happens if, and when, he gets tired of her? How can he retrain her to be independant? To have a job? A house? Husband and children or have he decided that she doesn't get those things. Ever.

So, while I like MC stories, they have to be better than this.

Anon#1 - Fantasy =/= reality - and there is plenty you can do to have the best of both worlds. And any responsible person that did this in reality would also make sure that they could operate without them. There are MANY worse stories that would cause far worse damage than this piece here :P - Anyway! Thats beside the point really - Personally, I enjoyed it! Loved the love side of things, the trust to get into that state int he first place. the passion is there as is the fractured thoughts that can occur. To trust and love that much... *sigh* Its a shame you finished there, instead of post cuddles while the lass drooled over Master happily :D

The dynamic of the transition of thoughts in the story is personally what makes me enjoy this one so much. The gradual focus of thoughts upon a single topic: "Love Master," pretty much precisely conveys the amount of existing affection for this sort of dynamic to be realistic.
The transition between each drop and return rather accurately describes what happens when someone is put down in trance that rapidly, especially when it's around someone they love and trust. The bit of idealized "what-if" scenario mixed with a handful of actual observable effects makes it more enjoyable to read for anyone who has any experience or remote interest in a hypnotist dynamic for a D/S relationship.

And not in a cute, cool punk way.
