"You"

I've never really understood the "you" perspective, and why so many authors here employ it. Was this story written for one specific person? If so, maybe it would make sense if you began with "Dear so-and-so."

Aside from that, this was a decent scene, but too short to even be considered a short story. I'd like to see this scene in a much broader story featuring these two characters.
