The transition from beautiful imagery to disdainful dismissal of all that came before it creating a n inversion and giving the impression that the first lines were sarcastic remarks. Interesting write.

I feel that this is two poems in one here, but there is one line that really stood out for me 'Remarkable poetry subtracted of its poetry is just that' which says it all. Thanks for the read.

now this is a fucking nice way to say white out, a hell of a nice way.

What I read isn't what I expected to read. This has a much more serious tone, I agree with Tod about the sarcastic tone, I just don't know if it's the upper half, the lower half or the whole thing.

I like the format and think you have some nice lines, here. But I'm left confused, the title is intriguing but doesn't help me any.

Written on the fly quite hastily in the PMD thread yesterday, to which I revisited several times to for make edits. Darn thing started taking on the shape of a sideways winged creature as the poem evolved. I already see potential for further edits, better choices of wordage.

Both serious AND sarcastic. It is a polemic after all.

This is lovely & the matching of the two halves really gives it a kick.

‘Remarkable poetry subtracted of its poetry’ leaves me almost wishing I had a definition of what the ‘poetry’ was. Nonetheless it creates lovely images.
