One Step

This is the kind of poem for which a lot of things can be said, just by it been so brief.
To me it is a very truthful description of instant death that occurs in motion, a death of everything, not lacking anything in magnificent or in tragic elements involved. Motion is described, feeling is described, time is described, manner is described.

Brief and not specific; the open ended nature will let each reader see what they want (including nothing). What I see is a person "slowing down" in life, or letting life pass her by (either due to a period of rest, or depression). When she finally comes back, everything has changed (my world has died).
