ID, I found your story to be an interesting hypothesis of the "Ripper' urban fables. If your inspiration should impel you to return to this story and amplify it.

I think two important points given short shrift are possible chapters of the women with the Prince (Edward?) and the Doctor being a virgin?

I am glad you avoided most of the hollywooded anthropomorphisms, anthropics and anachronisms common in historical fiction. Especially on this site.

I mean some (i.e. most) of these stories make me groan with their obvious mistakes about easily available facts.

I really liked it...

This was, by far, the most riveting tale of 'Jack the Ripper.' Wow. In a sense it reminds me of your other story "Blood Red Moon" (I cannot remember the exact title).

Well.

@Tallygirl1

This one, while written before "Under a Blood Red Sky", takes place several years after Colton returns to England and becomes a Scotland Yard detective. He adopts the name Cole Drayson as an alias, and decides to become a Detective for a while, which leads into this tale. I reposted this one and "Night Falls: Berlin", since they aren't going to appear in my "Last Crusader" trilogy. I'm still working on reediting and rewriting parts of the first novel "Blood of the Dragon". It's going to summarize almost 500 years in Sir Colton's life, so it's going to be fairly long. lol

The second novel, which WILL be titled "Under a Blood Red Sky", will have the formerly posted tale of the same name included, but will actually start during the French and Indian war. It will continue through the Civil Rights movement and Vietnam. The third novel, which I am tentatively calling "Crusade's End", will take place in modern day, almost exclusively.

Thanks for reading. :)
