I don't know how else to reach you, since you posted anonymously - sorry for noob ignorance.
Thanks for the constructive feedback - may need some more explanation on "slash and burn" since I know that phrase as associated with deforestation. I do comprehend your request that I seek out an editor, and so I shall. Do you have any recommendations from the editor pool, given my writing thus far?
As for the storyline, yes, they certainly do jump right in, however, in subsequent chapters, there is enough backstory presented to help fill in the gaps as to why this might be occurring at such a rapid pace.
Also, thank you for your kind words - I shall cherish the moment I read "fairly readable" when I was only shooting for passable! Seriously, though, I do appreciate that you took the time to comment. This story started as standalone essays for a very limited readership; I thought I would share them with the Literotica community to see the response. You have provided some insight for me to consider and I appreciate it.
