with rushed execution and detached, wretched revenge. This author thinks out of the box which is often a good thing. His main characters are often a bit cold around the heart. That showed up with nasty payback which was as distasteful as initial, unauthorized tattooing. Ouch, ouch, ouch from start to finish.
Imhapless is an innovative author. He takes chances. This time the literary dice came up snake eyes for me.
All bullies deserve payback. My only problem was taking the one skank with him. He should have fucked her then said no when she asked to go with him. Still a great tale.
I enjoyed it...but (sorry)... I wish there was more. It seemed like you gave us a detailed setup and then just plowed through the payoff. Less bullies to deal with or a longer story would have worked a little better.
Still, a solid four and my thanks for continuing to put yourself out there.
One part Sci-Fi, one part retribution, one part satire
This was definitely original and the writing was pretty good. There were a couple of stretches in the credibility department that bothered me somewhat. For example, holding someone against their will and assaulting them (i.e., tattooing) is a pretty serious crime and I doubt the police would ignore that in the same way the school ignored the bullying.
Jeff and those who restrained Kent would have done jail time and the girls would have done some community service, IMO. I guess one could argue that Kent was too humiliated to go to the police, but once he had gone for medical treatment, the law requires reporting of injurious assaults to the authorities.
Even though he had the old fantasies of revenge and resentment towards Kathy et al, (he ruins her marriage as part of that revenge after all), he then takes her with him to Australia to be with her because she has "changed." Yeah, and I have a bridge I can sell you in Alaska.
Despite such stretches (and maybe it was all part of the satire), I enjoyed this story and appreciate the author's time and effort in this regard. Thanks for writing.
Here's what happens when a 12 year old grows up to be a 12 year old. An arrested development revenge fantasy.
I like a writer who takes risks. Sometimes we get jewels. Sometimes we get turds. I always read a story from imhapless because his jewel:turd ratio is pretty good.
Agree with several recent comments on the credulity issue and the basic adolescent 'revenge' motif. Discouraged by the involvement of more 'innocents' in his plot than 'culprits!'. Not sure of the LW assignment (although a plethora of wives got nailed - and pleasured relentlessly - by an underhanded twit). Fits MUCH better in the Reluct/Non-Consent category!
He ends up taking the "slut" that humiliated him regularly and doesn't do anything but cost her a Marriage she wasn't happy in. I think he should bring others to his home and let her Hear the Coeds beg him for More. that would be revenge.
1- he was badly bullyed in school...
2 - His revenge was against the wives...The real bad ones didn't suffered in the flesh...
3- he had to runaway to another country....
And he was happy with his revenge?
I am told that the very worst thing a woman can do is cheat on her husband. This is so egregious that the betrayed husband is justified, nay, morally obligated to find the man who did this and cut his balls off...or at least curb stomp the ala JPB.
So according to this trope, this man delivered a very adequate amount of revenge indeed! And in chapter 2, if he is found and has his testicles curb stomped, while the bullies who so easily controlled him all his life use the Feedback Loop to know how to make it even MORE excruciating...well...according to the BTB gents, they would be quite justified.
Which is why I like a touch of nuance in my morality.
It was an okay story and technically well written. I didn't get emotionally engaged too much in either his plight or his revenge. Clinical. That is the word I am looking for.
1* for way over age call girls that men don't hire.
Young men don't need blue pills and there are no call girls in the thirties. Years ago a man that ran a call girl operation was on talk TV. A lady asked him the age of his girls and he replied, "Mostly teens and early twenties, the oldest is 26."
She asked if he needed anyone about 30 and he replied, "No."
She said, "Men tell me they like older women" and her replied, "Lady the men are just being nice. There is no demand women age 30."
Beautiful French call girl Zahia Dehar, would only have sex with very attractive men such as star footballers and at age 16 and 17 was charging $3,000 a night and earing $30,000 a month. She retired by age 18.
I don't usually comment on other people's comments -- but--
DWornock's comment is one of the least informed I have ever read. It is so blatantly wrong, as even a cursory Internet search would reveal, that it defies description. To base a score on misinformation is even more incredible! WOW!
Is this even a Loving Wives story? The main protagonist is single. From his viewpoint, it's practically Mind Control.
Also, a proper BTB tale requires the husband to hold the high moral ground. In this instance, I believe Kent holds the high ground, because he wasn't using Kathy and Melanie to get at their husbands, he was getting revenge on them as well. Of course this argument is tantamount to who holds the moral high ground in a turf war between the Mafia and Columbian drug lords.
I remember similar fantasies when I was under sixteen but suddenly it became quite clear to me that there was no moral justification for such a revenge. Fun to read though.
Aside from being in the wrong category, it was interesting and fun. Although, juvenile and far fetched, I was mesmerized to read on. I have no advice for this author but I am grateful for their originality and succinct direct conveyance. This was compact and powerful. Thank you for your five star effort!
I guess. I guess it is if you were, or are a nerd. There wasn't too much bullying going on in the schools I went to, as most of the guys didn't like it too much. I wouldn't have been satisfied over his retaliation, but it's his story. The story was nice, concise, to the point, not much filler, and met the authors needs. It just didn't seem sufficient revenge.
Kathy said, "Listen, Kent, I know that you hate me from High School and that revenge was probably the only reason that you fucked me. But I'm a different person now, and I'm hoping that you can forget the past and actually start over with me and have a relationship."
Thanks***
For the read.
Intriguing premise ... !

Good Revenge

Meh
Not your best work. Very wooden in its delivery. Thanks.

Revenge?

all talk no results
there was no final public revelation of the bullies. no one was exposed for their actions.
meh

How do you figure 'it's in the wrong category'?
He has sex with some married women, that's the Lit. definition of 'Loving Wives'.
Who cares what his motivation is?
Who cares that he also has sex with single women?
good story

Hmmm.... curious about something...

Except one problem... She didn't apologize...
