Auto-da-fé

The title is just too close to auto-da-fé for it to be coincidence. Well, I thought auto-da-fé was ritual suicide but, thanks to a quick look at Wikipedia, I now know it is the ritual admission of guilt by the victim of the inquisition prior to execution, burning at the stake in particular. Reminiscent of the Stalin show trials but a common device of kings and tyrannies down through the ages.

Thus I like to read this as Twelveoone’s admission of guilt forced under duress prior to ... Well, I can read it that way if I fucking like, can’t I?

I think this is the black cat's comment on ensued vogue hilarity.
I read it like Cleardaynow, but like Tod I'm missing something.
Did they burn the cat in the end?
5ed.

Let's assume

Your reading is correct, Cleardaynow, does the title and the statement add to it?
Au (or gold) to the foe?
I admit nothing except it has nothing to do with Bon Jovi and even then I might be lying
Bon Jovi does come from Say-er-ville
Regardless, that was an impressive reading, as was Trix's fix.
Truth is it has morphed to become a rather sardonic comment on myself as the protagonist in another poem "empty road" which may never be finished.

I'm with Todski on this.

Yep it hurts my brain. Were it not for your comment on a lack of meaning I would likely be doing some research, I guess I'll go back to the simple sexy ones.
