in the bulk of this, how far off are you away from the cliche?
abstinent release
noun phrase. any reason not to break it up into 2 nouns
make that 3 questions...

my reading of this is oxymoronic, what is the intended meaning here?

for 1201 the whole premise

is oxymoronic- how often if you are healthy and promiscuous do you willingly turn down sex?

I doubt too many people have actually tried to do this in terms of their sex life, so the use of cliche in text is an attempt to contrast the underlying theme of deliberate abstinence for a time frame.
Think of it like a crash diet, try a lemon detox and try and tell me that you can think of anything other than food.

The meaning is really an attempt on my part to show a difference between plain sex and the end result of deliberately saying no, but still acting in an intimate manner through the course of normal life, the tension is palpable to the point you tend to fight a lot which takes the top focus off sex but underneath there is some crazy termoil all you want to do is tear each others clothes off and fuck.

And when you do finally reward eachother it's unlike anything else.
