Don't know if it was a bit of history with you, but I recall an incident or two like this back in the dark ages of my youth. Maybe it was the bright ages, I will leave that up to others. One or two errors but mostly with spell check , But I really liked the feeling of the story, the closeness and urgency of youth and the hint of pain past. You could do more stories with these two characters, but I think you have done what you set out to do. Very good, thank you
