She skates and he wimps out by avoiding a confrontation. What are we learning here? She is a twit, and will probably do it again. He will hid in the closet and watch her. What a pussy.
The writer must have gotten tired and did not want to finish the story. It lacked depth
Wendy's free ride.
I guess he broke his credo, the thing he has lived by a large part of his life, his wife got a free ride after all. This story was left unfinished, for him to have ended up forgiving Wendy he should at least have tried looking up Pauline French or anyone else to even things out.
He was also a bit naive in thinking that Joyce wouldn't talk with Wendy, after all Joyce said they were best friends that she had known Wendy a lot longer, and that she wanted them to stay together as a couple, that could be a plausible explanation for why Wendy cancelled her spa plans.

This story pissed me off a little too. Banging up the lover boy was all good, but giving the cheating bitch a free pass was unconscionable. She should have been made to pay a high price for her infidelity. And her buddy Joyce, her"cover", should have gotten her share of some punishment too. All in all just not a very satisfactory way to end it. I star.
