This isn't Mal and Tom

Mal and Tom were not the people I was thinking about when I wrote the story, but feel free to imagine it's them anyhow. Most of my stuff has same the voice and syntax, so it all pretty much reads the same. I've been trying to branch out, but it sounds like I'm still a literary one trick pony for now. As always though, feedback and comments are extremely welcome.
