This is a fun story. You have done very well at how likely it might be for two people to dance around details because they know they are getting into a very taboo situation. It is very clear you have done a lot of writing. You also do something that I have caught myself doing: spell checks often miss grammar and word choices. I miss those because I am having so much fun writing my mind fills in the right words instead of the mistakes. My guess whomever proofs your work may tend to get involved enough in your story to miss details too.
