I'm impressed. That place was a hole. You should have gone out to Lighthouse Beach at Robert Moses...a lot more privacy to do what you want. Otherwise, you could have fleshed out the story a bit more but a good one nonetheless.
You are correct! It was Jacob Riis Park. It was clothing optional at the time. I remember one day when the news media and the police were there. The city banned the nudity. Don't know what it's like now. I took a subway to Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn and then a bus.
