Pretty hot tale. But what caused the argument. Did he cheat on her? If he did he's lucky she took him back. Or was it something else? Just curious but because of that I give it a no rating.

IMO, it would fit better in romance. Although in this case she is a true loving wife, this category is more designed for wives who fuck around.

Consider this little exchange, and think about the things he could have said in the heat of that argument, regardless of its cause, about her past and how such words could hurt and cause a trust issue:

""It's just that I want you to think of me as something other than what my past has shown."

"We both have a past," I said and kissed her again. As I hugged her I noticed a small bruise on her knee. She winced when I touched it.

"I fell on the staircase last night. Distracted. I'm damaged goods. Can you live with it?"

The double meaning wasn't lost on me, even as dense as I can be. "We'll both heal and do better in the future." No more needed to be said."

Im with betrayed on this one... How did this couple wind up where they are in this story? If i wanted a full on mystery i'd go talk to my wife about why dhe hates NFL. :)

And not badly written,pretty hot,but I agree that the backstory would make it better...the references to the past,the damaged goods,don't say much,and it woukd be fun to see who they are and why..I realize it is a flash story,and it is good,but would be great as a full story,too.
