This story is simple, sweet, sexy & quite delicious both in content & literary style.
The characters however, beg to be grown, plead to be more rounded & fleshed out. At first I couldn't understand why I was feeling ambivalence & then realized I needed something more to become invested in this story. It was the lack of characterization that kept me at a distance when I wanted to be drawn in; invested.
Keep writing and keep the stories coming. This is a gem!
