Loved the story until the end, hated the way this chapter ended. Hopefully you will correct it in a future chapter.

You worked background family history and internal conflict into a one page story without having a jarring background tell-all paragraph stuffed into it. That's impressive. I really enjoyed it and gay male is not my usual read.

The only disappointment was the end. If you're letting a guy in a dark cloak named Damon take you through a series of ever greater temptations, being on a downward spiral is not much of a revelation.
