Good first attempt, worth continuing.

There were some minor grammatical errors though that should disappear with more experience and/or an editor, as well as a continuity error to be addressed: there was no mention of untying Haley's hands.

Other than that it was a pretty well put together and enjoyable opening. I look forward to the next chapter.
