Four years off

Buddy Holly died in early 1959. Add two years and you are in 1961, four years from the stated 1957.

Fallout Shelters (not "Bomb" Shelters) were in vogue also in 1961, not in 1957.

This author needs to review both history and arithmetic.

some problems...

1. It's Buddy Holly, not Holley.

2. I'm not sure, but I don't think that the word "cum" was in common usage in the 1950s.
