Dmitry grows sicker as he evolves through this story. He knows he is doing wrong and despite his self-awareness, continues his behavior. His saving grace condemns him in our eyes and his.

I cannot see any good conclusion for this story. Too much damage and suffering on the part of the two main characters. Continuing to read this will be like passing that horrible accident on the highway that you have to look at as you pass the mangled remains of vehicles and other victims. Yes, I stole the imagery from you. You are too good with this story. Thank you

it was horrific. and like Dmitry, i hated myself that i found it sexy, too. and i couldn't stop reading, could barely take a full breath because my belly was clenched in fear and heartbreak for Alex.

Drew... i'm thinking he may be even more pivotal to this story than being Dmitry's father figure.

my only concern is, could there be a path towards healing either one of our heroes, given the extreme of Dmitry's brutality and the extent of the damage he had already caused. sucker for HEA as i am, it is very very hard to imagine a scenario in which Alex no longer fears and hates him, even if he somehow got himself help, and even if he'd freed her...

still, i trust you, Tatum, because you keep delivering extraordinary work with each subsequent chapter. well done, and i shall wait impatiently for the next installment!

Holy hell, you know I'm a sucker for the dark side and you do it so fucking well! His complete failure to restrain himself from his primal side. The constant ebb and flow of his frustrated revenge fantasy, and now this inner monologue of the man his father wanted him to be?! PLUS the hot noncon that you make incredibly delicious even-though-it's-oh-so-wrong to read? Jesus Tatum, I freaking love you! So good!!

I don't think I barely took a breath reading that, poor Alex, I'm with her in that I hate him too. I have no sympathy or empathy for him.

I love a happy ending but I'm not sure how we can have one if indeed that is your plan. It's not like he needs to have an epiphany, he isn't lacking in realization, he just isn't strong enough to control himself.

The beating was brutal and I worry that I will not be able to continue to read this but that is not a criticism of your writing or your plan for this story. I await the next chapter with trepidation and a little hope that maybe Professor Drew and time can help turn Dmitry around.

Incredible chapter. I'm not really a fan of the HEA endings because I find them so unrealistic. Her growing hatred is realistic and it shows she has a backbone, that she's not led around by a magic dick. For someone so young, she is pretty perceptive and insightful. I've lost count of how many noncon stories I've read and yours is probably the second or third where the heroine knows that cumming doesn't mean she wants it. The vengeful side of me hopes she utterly destroys him through her rejection.

SO FUCKING TWISTED! I LOVE IT!

This was kind of cool. It was 90 % inner dialogue, and only 10 % story throughout the whole series, but I sort of dug it. It reminded me of reading a very intricate diary. I quite enjoyed it, and will keep tabs on this for the future. I'll even back track and five star you for each one.

I only have one criticism.... Fire your editor. Seriously... fire them.

I hope there is a happy ending I'm in love how he battles with himself but I think Alex fanatasy is going to come real please update soon Great story

After all that vicious beatings & abuse, it won't be a happy ending, at least for me, if Alex ended up with Dimitri in the final chapter; it will be a repeat of history, as with her parents.

She would have to be as twisted and sick in the mind as Dimitri, to ever fall for that SOB.

I love this story, such great characters, I love your style, it's a testament to your writing ability that I am rooting for Dmitry I really want it to some how work out for them, although I have no idea how your going to pull it off.

It's difficult to write a noncon story with a believable balance and you are doing a great job. Well done! Please don't let yourself be swayed by freaky weirdos who read this stuff only to bash the writer - they're clearly not in touch with themselves. When I've more time, I'll register so I can give yr story a high rating to offset the intentional low ratings.

Everything that I wanted to see start to happen in this story is here in this chapter. While I was hoping not to have to read through another brutal scene of Dmitry's sadistic cruelty, I understand why it had to happen and the point at which his desire to abuse Alex falters and stops is well timed and appropriate.

I absolutely love that you're delving into Dmitry's thought processes and his growing awareness of his own weaknesses, as he reflects on the situation he's created for himself. It is a difficult thing to do and you are allowing your readers to relate to Dmitry not as a sadist but a flawed human being who is now trying to do something to correct those flaws. Bringing in a potential ally to help Dmitry (not the twisted doctor Vasc... or the weird Russian woman) is a great idea and probably the only way for any redemption and resolution.

And thank you for keeping Alex angry and hating Dmitry. While the sex in this chapter is totally hot and erotic for the reader, you make it clear that it's not as enjoyable for Alex and her final words to him were perfect. Thank you for keeping her strong and willful.

It is so obvious now that Helen was already pregnant with Drew's baby when she was forced to marry Anton. And, probably Anton knew all along, that is why he physically abused her as a child. Don't know what Dmitry will think, when it all comes out. But, I think it will be great to sit back and watch the explosive aftermath that surely has to come. Please hurry with chapter 6. :)

@OwnedbyConway I am a Creative Writing Teachers Assistant and I just wanted to take the time to compliment you on your magnificent attention to what others would consider minor details and the multidimensional characters of Alex and Dmitry. But I also wanted to warn you on the classic mistake beginning authors make like constructing a "Redeemable Villain" who is Dmitry. You have to consider how "twisted" and how "humanized" he needs to be. If you write him as too much of a fictional monster who prays too excessively on the heroin Alex, if forgiveness is offered towards the demonized Dmitry, Alex's character will be underplayed and all of the work you've put into giving her a personality will be rendered nonexistent and your readers will have no one to love in the end. And for the Flashbacks, try not only italicizing them but maybe adding in description of the year it takes place in so your readers know that they are being transported backwards like in the scene with Anton and Helen ( She witnessed what had been beneath Antons carefully constructed malice. He was born sick and equipped with sharpened knives, an illness that shook her past the layers of her flesh and folds. A horror that demanded a sacrifice like when billions of televisions screens were littered with the aftermath two months ago of the Twin Towers collapsing in New York City and each and every American raged for an eye for an eye) I don't know, not exactly like that but similar to when you mentioned the Jason Bourne series especially the latest one that came out The Bourne Legacy. It lets your readers know that they between 2012 and 2014. Or simply adding a date before the Flashback. I love the Traitor's Daughter series! And I am willing to help if you ever out of an editor or need a second opinion.

I read all five chapters last night I literally gasped at the end of chapter 5. I need to know what happens!! Please don't let half a year pass before posting the next chapter!!

In chapter 3 Anton says that Helen gave Alex the name of a guy, who I assumed was the one she loved. So if Helen loves Drew, who is Alex named after?

yeah, it said she gave her daughter the name of a guy. Drew ALEXius. It makes sense. It's also a beautiful plot twist.

I have to say that I love this story. The emotions are so complex, yet perfectly described. There are grammar issues, and I'd love to help with them. Those are the only flaws in this incredibly well-written story. In this chapter especially, I found some slips in verb tense, a misplaced modifier, and a few comma errors. If you'd like, I'd be more than happy to help with the editing.

.. have created one of the few non consent heroines who makes me believe. Of course she hates him -Stockholm syndrome notwithstanding. Even he acknowledges that he deserves it.

I am now wondering if there is any way she could learn to trust him. I doubt it. I feel a little wistfully sorry for him in a bleah way, he's creating his own misery.

Dmitry is so in control, yet tortured, and I love that Alex is a submissive push-over, the control in this situation isn't simulated, she really is powerless and reacting to her situation as such! Dmitry's actions are unforgivable, his ‘remorse’ is a sham. Alex has permanent marks of his violence against her literally on her face, and he continues to brutalise her, knowing she is in pain and unwilling. There is absolutely NO WAY he can ever make amends for his abusive cruelty. His violence grows ever worse, and he is likely to kill her and then blame her for his actions. I wonder what he will do when her parentage is revealed, and the depth of his crimes against her hit home. I can only see a happy ending that lets her get far, far away from him.

Don't left us hanging, the long wait is making me crazy

I have read this story about 4 times. I am really into this story. Yes it is abusive but I think that deep down inside there is love. I truly believe that Dmitry can redeem himself and that they can find a way to love each other in a Master/slave relationship. I want to believe that Dmitry can be strong and dominate but love and care for Lexi. There is nothing wrong with Lexi wanting and loving a dominate male and for her to accept herself as being a submissive. There is a lot of work to be done to repair the relationship, but I would love to see Dmitry and Lexi stay together. Please write a new chapter soon. Think of a way to keep them together, because they belong together.

I really hope there will be some evidence of the trauma she's suffered. I love this genre but I hate it when the heroine jumps back up again all perky after the kind of trauma she's suffered. He talks about her singing in the shower, interacting with him on a reasonable level, I'd think that would stop until he can find a way to prove that he's not going to allow his temper to continue to rule him. She "bounced back" after the first time, in part, because I think there was some hope that he could be different. To suffer a second severe trauma wouldn't leave her singing in the shower and treating him with friendship. I know it's her intent to placate him going forward, but hopefully he will see that he's lost the "real" her.

I am also writing a series so I realize life gets in the middle of it and sometimes writing feels like a chore so it doesn't come out right, but this is truly one of the few stories I like to follow.

i really wanted to comment after the first 2 chapters. i found it believable, intriguing and engrossing. Those are qualities of a good book/novel. but then i have read a lot of books with great beginnings but dreadful and boring mid story and endings so i commented at the last chapter. All in all it was a great read, a hero with conflicting emotions, the same with the girl. Then i was disappointed that there is no more. The ending of this chapter was surprising... i'm like salivating for the next one. When is the next chapter going to be published. Goodreads and amazon run out of good books already. LOL. more power to the author

I understand we all have lives to live and you're busy, but it's not fair to get readers engaged in your story, only to leave them hanging. Please accept this as a compliment to your story telling; not a criticism. Especially with Dmitry, you've explored his inner world to such a degree, it would be a shame to stop just when he starts to grow the fuck up.

I wonder if noncon stories such as yours are often abandoned because the writers have written themselves into impossible situations, where there really can be no "happy ever after" endings that don't feel forced. It's no surprise so many good stories with noncon themes are left incomplete on this site, always abandoned at the point where the protagonist/antagonist starts to want redemption.

I hope Dmitry and Alex haven't been abandoned. Although his actions are horrific and brutal, I think Dmitry can still find redemption and maybe even happiness with Alex. From the very start, you've portrayed Dmitry as a multidimensional, flawed and complex human being, who's willing to take a hard look at himself. That's what makes this story salvageable. This doesn't make his actions forgivable, and in reality, his actions are truly unforgivable. ..in real life, Dmitry would deserve nothing less than castration. (personally, I hope Drew Alexius rips Dmitry a new hole ;-)

But that's the beauty of writing fantasy and fiction. ....its not reality, so we're allowed to take liberties. So PLEASE continue this story. Who cares if it's not realistic (as if any erotic noncon stories are meant to mirror reality). I really want to see what happens with Dmitry and Alex and I'm rooting for them.

Please keep your readers posted on your progress, if nothing else. That way, we can know when to check back instead of having to check daily. Again, this is meant as a compliment, not a criticism.
