Five stars just for the imagination to have husband react differently to this painful situation. I could see this guy destroy his wife and then sympathetically embrace her before leaving her for good.

Previous comments . Ditto. Myself, I couldn't wait to shut of such a miserable cow. Its one thing to cheat away from home and spouse, but to be bad company to boot while on home ground. Just a story I know and quite an amusing one, apart from that facet.

Maybe I'm just impatient, but he is being rather cute and maybe timid in his response. What did he accomplish with the flat tires? Who cares if she gets fat again? She has already left him, some time ago actually. He needs to take his smarter, slimmer self and start a new life. Hide and protect what assets he can, but just pull the plug on the bitch and get gone. Life is too short to engage in juvenile antics with this poor excuse for a woman. There's plenty of good women out there. He needs to forget the hag and go get a real partner.
