Disappointing End

I was really enjoying your story but was a little disappointed that the end just sort of fizzled out. He basically just turned out to be a doormat and he deserves whatever he gets.

Seemed promising, then this chapter...

This chapter wasn't worth reading.
Shouldn't have wasted time even writing it.
It would've been better to just leave it unfinished.
And, seriously; by calculations they are what late 40s - 50s? With them having been married for 20+ years, after college...
And, she being obese; liable to have a heart attack or stroke during birth. Not to mention all the other complications with pregnancy that late in life.
Seems like this chapter was just cr*pped out to tie up loose ends; there are just way too many holes in it to even make sense; let alone come to this conclusion...

Okay, the baby's born, DNA proves he's the Father. She rules the roost because she now possesses all the money. She did her homework. Either, she takes charge and never cheats again or she finds another local lover while he stays home and watches the kid. Maybe, because she's at that age. She goes through menopause, loses interest in all sex.... now, he's in a sexless marriage. so many ways this could actually end.

Depressing

This guy had a marriage for 20 years. The marriage did not produce any children. His wife was a slut. He got rid of her. She forces her way back into his life on the pretense that she is pregnant with his child. He knows it can't be his. He allows her to stay so he can fuck her and record the porn. This guy has done next to nothing with his life.

Jumped too far into the future...

...I understand he drove home, leaving her clueless, burnt everything, even sold the house within a week and you never once describe her reaction?!? Chapter 6 start somewhat in the future...that jump does not come well. I find it irritating.

This was a good story till the end, then it went down...Not enough down to ruin it, but the story deserved a better ending...

Several problems here.

The biggest one is that they don't discuss her cheating and her future plans after the little bastard is born. That he allows her in the door strains credibility. That he speaks to her civilly is hard to believe. This woman did her best to ruin his life, yet he still lets her in the door?

This was supposed to be your ending? Why couldn't he have left her luggage at the bottom?

Why would be even stick around for a conversation? He has nothing of value there, why not simply leave? And if he's so sure he's not the father, then walk the fuck away!

I suspect this was supposed to be funny. For me it fell flat on my face, they guy who invested this much time in a non-story.

The way the previous chapters were written, that could have meant we were going to have a BTB, and all cuck losers would be disappointed. It's not so much that you're a pansy Brit cuck, as it is the fact that you misled us all. I'll recall your byline and not make that mistake again. I only wish Lit would offer a 0, (which only makes sense anyway; think about that Laurel), so you (and others), could get the loser 0 you deserve.

Truly an ignominious ending and very unsatisfying. The protagonist, with his tongue in cheek self deprecating attitude, at first is found not to be self deprecating at all. He is not worthy of attention. He literally is a living example of insanity according to A Einstein. A one since that is the lowest rating possible. So you build up this story as a man finally doing something about the emotionally abusive whore he's married to, then you flat out end it with him remaining a wimp? Why do all the stuff from before? He might as well have stayed in the UK with her.

Your character was consistent. He was a wimp in the beginning, he was a wimp in the end.

The wife was consistent. She was a thoughtless whore in the beginning, she was a thoughtless whore in the end.

The started out fat, they must have ended up fat because he can't even climb a flight of stairs.

So this was a consistent story cut into similar sized chunks and had me mildly curious as to how things went.
