Pitter patter little drops
   clouds scuttle by
A rainy Sunday morning
   she thinks with a sigh

A day meant for staying
   wrapped cozy in T/their bed
A chance to lull the day away
and think of what He said

Soft fluffy pillows
   blankets pulled up tight
Basking in the gray glow
   as day replaces night

He reaches for her
   and finds her waiting there
A rainy Sunday morning...
   a day without a care
