LEMONIA (F)LEAP EDELTRAUD => ...AND THE ENSUING SPRING TIME

Hillside
16/5/2012

(music in SIBELIUS 6)
A TIME THAT HAS BEEN

A time that has been,
That's all that will remain,
New life will begin,
The older to contain.

REFRAIN
The universe expands,
According to its tension,
My Edeltraud still stands,
Beyond my comprehension.

I don't know if her night,
Is well and truly over,
She drops out of this light,
Shines for a lesser lover.

REFRAIN (the same)

I don't care if she shines,
Or she's in a dark den,
Or if she reads the signs,
Glory to her. Amen!

REFRAIN (the same)

I'm not

making any sense of this yet - but I like these four lines-really good

I don't know if her night,

Is well and truly over,

She drops out of this light,

Shines for a lesser lover.
