Your gaze burns hot,
unrelenting;
blistering my soul as if lost...
lost in need...
lost in a lake of flame...

Yet;
you find me.

Time
and time again...
You find me.

Knowing;
exactly where I am...
my state of mind...
my unfocused focus
seeing only You;
knowing only You...
existing
only in our moment.

It was You
who told me of the Zen saying...
"One breath,
one lifetime...
its all the same to eternity."

This is how I feel;
kneeling
waiting
breathless...
for Your touch...
for Your acceptance of my offering...
of myself
in entirety.

I am that breath;
that lifetime...
held in the timelessness of Your gaze.

I await
patiently poised;
balanced beyond belief...

I
can
only be,
yours.
