time is all around us
tick tock, tick tock
goes the clock of ages.
life is going through that clock
once you had youth
now reflection shows your age
a wrinkle or two in time
shows now on your face.
eyes once bright
are sager with age.
as the hand ticks on by
you grow grayer
no longer upright
but stooping lower
time is coming to take you
your hour has come
to lay in bed
and never to wake
all time has stopped for you.

Time as it ticks away

I must say, right to the point and as the hour glass keeps ticking away and slowly into the depts beneth the sand.
