Time stands still.
If only for an instant.
Mindful thoughts race
around with in it.
Reflections of sights seen,
or images of what might have been.
Memories in bright light.
Shimmering shadows of
loves sweet sight.
Passions heated fire
Sweet, sublime, and
then rising higher.
Two souls unite as one.
Sharing secrets as loves begun.
Time stands still,
as old wounds heal.
But only for an instant
