i walk through these halls underground,
the tears of angels, weaping on the ground,
they say god's grace has fallen from us all,
and that the devil sits in his throne, laughing at it all

these halls are filled with these weaping angels now,
they cry out in pain at the agony of it all,
why oh why has it all come to this,
that the world's end was sealed by a single burning kiss

they turn to me, in their tattered white robes,
begging me to end the pain, to make it all go,
i watch them now, as they fill the halls with tears,
is there any end to this world of pain and fear

i keep walking on, listening for that sweet voice,
the sound of gentle bells, ringing in my ears
if i lose that sweet sound of your loving voice,
then i'll be forever lost in these halls of tear filled angels

i hear your voice now, its gentle melody,
i come closer to you now, you're singing out to me
i find you there in those halls of tears and sorrow,
the devil standing there, like he owns you and your soul

i grab your hand and we run back through those halls,
the angels no longer weaping as they block the devils path
their voices grow stronger as they see us now together,
we'll set this world right, we'll bring it forth anew

we run out to the light at the end of the tunnel,
stopping in the sunlight, free of all our troubles
i look into those eyes of yours and see the woman i love,
once more you're mine to call my own within my arms.
