Eyes wide open
I sit ip in bed
Knowing this feeling
It's almost like dread
Anticipation

The feeling gets stronger
As the seconds fly by
Soon you will come
And so will my demise
Anticipation

As you arrive
Nothing is clear
My body reacts
There is no fear
Anticipation

Almost to me now
My core starts to shake
A secret smile in your eyes
Only you knowing what you'll take
Anticipation

Warmth encases me
Mind, Body and Soul
It's getting stronger
You never letting go
Anticipation

Waves washing over me
As I close my eyes
My sweet surrender
Can you hear my cries
Anticipation

Slowly slipping away
Leaving me alone
You will return
With time yet unknown
Anticipation
