Anticipation

Closing my eyes I search a mental horizon for you
We are bound by fragile threads
I am ravenous with hunger for companionship
Echoes of a truer purpose resound in my ears
I want to lay in your still waters and calm my inner turmoil
You permeate my mind and reveal my inner desires
Caught adrift on your words, I sit in quiet anticipation of your arrival
Phantom lips caressing my skin, leaving me fixated
Relief only comes with your touch
