Every woman is told that she can be a mother
It is ingrained in our head from an early age
Those ‘time of the months’ where you feel like no one knows what you are going through
We are warned about birth control, told that it takes ‘just one time’

And when it is wanted and it doesn’t take ‘just one time’ my world is shattered
Something is wrong, how can I be a complete woman if what I have been told my whole life can’t happen
Don’t assume that childless women choose to be like that
I didn’t get to choose
