Midnight
an Angel weeps
in the quiet slumbers
where you sleep
As the orchids hang
from a darkened sky
where a soul seeps
in a violet eye
into the caverns of your heart
....
Hallways empty
an endless tomb
where only the blackest
of orchids bloom
awaiting his love
....
Seek not just where
the lightness shows
but to walk amongst the soul
where the orchids grow
dark
there is where you find
my forest heart
....
Set me free
where the orchids bleed
and rip through endlessly
take me beyond a hearts song
to know me fully
the depth of me
....
Into your hands the
orchids must bleed
black
...

~~

Angel

I can't believe I never commented on this; how rude. Such a deeply thoughtful (and a bit dark) write. Invites careful rereading.

And your presence here is missed.
