Think on it. Breathe it in.
Feel it under Your nails
As You scrape the surface.

Reach out to it.
Caress and fondle as if a lover,
Making of Death a sweet embrace
Smothering You lovingly.

Soft and demanding.

Listen for the fall of light.
Reach into the piercing glare,
Superstition and Blind Faith
Steeped in Blood,
and Cleansed with tears.

Turn back the clock on evolution,
Frustration filling generations.
Dream of Life in Death...

Fantasy and Prophecy,
An ever deepening Mystery.
The End draws near,
...A new Beginning?

~~

Just keep holding onto your blind faith as you travel toward that cliff that has a mile long drop....
