Saw you in the store
late last night
you were buying wine
in a dress clinging tight,
You said 'whatcha doin''
'ain't seen you in awhile....'
I said, 'not much'
with my best seductive smile.

I asked were you drinking
the wine just yourself
you said 'that depends'
in a manner somewhat stealth,
You paid for your bottle
I paid for my eggs
I scanned your body
Your long seductive legs.

We walked out together
to my car and your truck
my brain was thinking
hey, let's go home and fuck,
What you were thinking
was obscured by the night
you started your engine
turned on your headlight.

You rolled down the window
said 'maybe next time'
'give me a call'
and you were gone like a dime,
In the parking lot
I stood there alone
the harsh vapor lights
intersecting cones.

Just a few cars
two dozen shopping carts
randomly scattered
like a thousand Wall-marts,
I started the engine
thought of following your route
unsure what I'd say
thinking 'damn, you're cute'.

In your tight clinging dress
with your bottle of wine
some lucky guy
was having
        a hell of a good time ...

Good one

That was good. An unfulfilled desire is so poetic.
