What is it that we all desperately try for?

That secret spark
That fulfilling aura
That breath that catches before it steals away,
leaving you
  falling
    falling
      falling.

When the sun dips low in the west, does the heart not ache for a deeper realism of bonding?

To know there can be
A smile
A laugh
A hug
leaves you
  longing
    longing
      longing.

Alas, as the horizon fades to pink my heart will break again
and without

The simplicity
The warmth
The love
I'll still be
  lonely
    lonely
      lonely.
