I cannot call
What I do
"Reading"

I ingest words
At an enormous rate
Glutting and gorging

My banquets hosted
By both talented bards
And hackneyed cranks
Served in paper, ink and glue

I devour tales
Of Love, Hate,
Sex and Power
Savouring each syllable

I cannot call
What I do
"Writing"

Instead
I vomit words
Upon the page

Til I'm left
With painful dry-heaves
Erasing more words
Than I write

Finally
Sobbing and slobbering
I flush the whole mess
Into the recycle bin

Makes sense...

I get, because I read prodigiously as well. I'll start to devour anything-just throw it up/back if it's not good enough. I really relate to how you describe writing though...poetry especially. I don't write poetry much, even though I have a lot of poems posted on Lit. I choose what to write in my posted stories. I'm mostly "forced" into my poetry.

Perhaps instead of Pleasures, the title could have read, 'Bulemic Writing'

It's not as snappy a title but fits better with all you've written.

title

I like the concept's originality, but I think the poem still needs a little work. You also might want to rethink the title. "Bulemic" is good, but "Pleasures" could be replaced with something better. IMHO
