You play a dangerous game,
blowing hot and cold.
I cannot catch my balance.
My heart is in
free-fall and
I can't count on
you to save me.
Your anger is
a flash-fire,
coming out of nowhere.
One unnoticed spark
starts an inferno
that scorches my soul,
leaving scars that
will never heal.
You are slowly
breaking me down
and you don't even
know it.
How do I battle a fire
I cannot see?
You are always
simmering,
just waiting to
explode at me.
All I can do is
love you and wait,
a trembling sacrifice
to your rage.
