Theres the girl that I've been after.
tell my friends, and I hear their laughter.

I hear them telling me I haven't got a chance,
as I walk to her shyly and ask her to dance.

She says YES to my surprise.
My friends too, by the looks in there eye's

As we dance, she holds me tight and whispers in my ear.
Tells me, I'm the guy shes been after, words that I've longed to hear.

I asked her why she didn't tell me, 'til I asked her to dance.
She looks to me shyly and says, My friends said I didn't have a chance.
