Passion, pain, pleasure
All our shared desires
Flame between us

Laughter, lingering looks
Vigilant not to betray the secret

Not just lover, but friend
Not only seduction, but affection

Complications of my own design
Leave me reeling, unthinking

Love for another
Life with another
Betrayal tears my heart

And yet I cannot stop
Desire and more defeat me

More that traps me to him
More that remains an enigma
More that drives uncertainty

Yes.

Yes I did have to choose, but I don't think saying who does anything for this submission. I wrote a lot of other things around this time that I plan on also submitting, which will either show you how much I struggled or show you who I chose.
