The goddess calls to me
With black feathery wings
That I model for her.
She admires me silently,
Slips her robes to the floor
And takes me to her.
We light the candles and
Dance a delicious dance.
Flesh on Flesh.
Working Magic.
We take the shades of Earth,
Emotion like a river,
The sun our passion,
And feel a high we have never felt before.
We settle back to earth,
Melding, warm and dreaming.
She stands, shaking, and lifts me to my feet.
With her touch, I no longer feel the cold.
I look into her eyes and she into mine.
The connection is instant
And eternal.
She bids me stretch my wings.
I close my eyes and breathe deep,
I take her hand. She takes mine.
And together we leap from the cliff,
Born again as the Dark Goddess.
