Black Snake with shimmering dark eyes

You come to me in my dreams again

Slithering through my subconscious

Wrapping yourself around my soul

I feel the sting of your bite

Feel the poison fill my veins

Slowly I feel my life fade away

The shadows are closing in

And then I hear her voice…..

Surrender….

Giving up all resistance I surrender

My body dissolves into nothingness

And in a brilliant flash I am reformed

All that I once was is gone

I stand new, strong and whole

And dancing around me is

The black mother….
