Taking a moment
in time, out of my time, of our time
I pause during work
reflecting on my thoughts
that have not been working
anyway

Should I, shall I, could I
call you thee?
Thy hair, thy smile
thy colour-of-hazelnut brown eyes

But thou art not thee,
not just thee.
You are also you.
Your wit, your Voice,
your modern-meets-classic, strong,
spank-your-little-girl Womanhood.

Should I, shall I, could I
call you?
Work taps its' fingers
impatiently
and my thoughts are torn
from you and thee
from your class, thine ass.

I push deadline
away
just a moment more.
Just to tear out a clean page,
frame these thoughts
that have been
not working
anyway:

Know - you are always here.

Love,

me.
